
Chief Minister Tony Brown has told Tynwald there remains a degree of confusion over what powers were used by the UK government to seize the £550 million of Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander Isle of Man funds.
Speaking in response to a question from Onchan member Peter Karran, he admitted the situation was far from ideal but currently they had their hands tied.
