Whey ahead of the competition!
Isle of Man Creamery is celebrating after being awarded an ‘Oscar’ of the food industry.
Isle of Man Creamery whey butter was entered into the Great Taste Awards at the beginning of 2017 along with over 12,000 other products from across the UK.
The butter was one of only 165 products to be awarded a prestigious Three Star Award, and had been ranked in the top 50 food products entered.
Being included on this prestigious list meant that it was also in the running for the regional Golden Fork Awards – recognising the best products from the North of England.
Great Taste Judges commented that the butter was “Creamy, thick and faultlessly salted - the perfect ‘cement between the bricks’ in any sandwich.”
Isle of Man Creamery Finance Director Stephen Keeley received the Golden Fork Award at a dinner held at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel on the 4th September.
