Four Castle Rushen High School students have bagged a trip to Luxembourg next month.
The team of year nine students won the SES Satellite Leasing competition to visit the Isle of Man satellite company's headquarters.
The contest prompted students to think about the future of satellites and the environmental issues surrounding their launch.
Dozens of teams submitted projects, but Kitto Maddrell, Jordanne Kennaugh, Jim Gale and Josh Cable came out on top.
