SCFMC welcomes former First Deemster
A former First Deemster has been appointed as a director of the Small Countries Financial Management Centre.
David Doyle CBE, who now works as a senior legal adviser for Cains Advocates in Douglas, retired as First Deemster in July last year, after holding the post since 2010.
He was also the deputy governor of the Island during that period.
Executive Director of the Centre Mark Shimmin said: 'David has been an active and valued supporter of the centre and its work for many years and we are extremely pleased that he has agreed to become a director of the charity.
'His experience and expertise will be invaluable'.
