The Isle of Man Ship Registry has a new internet presence with lauch of a revamped website.
iomshipregistry.com brings together all the information existing and prospective clients will need and has been welcomed by Minister for Trade and Industry David Cretney as being a major step forward from the old site.
As well as providing copies of relevant legislation, shipping notices and contacts at the registry, it also acts as a valuable marketing channel with links to reviews of the registry in trade publications and video interviews from around the world.
Registry director Dick Welsh says the aim is to continually improve the site and he is looking for anyone with high quality photographs of Manx registered vessels which could be used on the website in the future.
