Delegates take stock of industry
Delegates from around the world over are gathered at the Villa Marina for a major industry conference today (8 Sept).
The KPMG Isle of Man eGaming Summit began with an introduction from Chief Minister Allan Bell - who opened the first event six years ago.
Professionals are attending a variety of seminars and workshops on issues from compliance and regulatory changes, to web design and gambling addiction prevention.
The day includes a series of talks and panel discussions covering a range of current sector topics, including the Isle of Man's eGaming proposition post-Brexit.
Among Manx businesses sponsoring the summit, Nedbank Private Wealth, Dervico Isle of Man, Continent 8 Technologies and MT.
Tonight the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino will host the official closing party.
The industry's rapid growth has seen eGaming become the Island's biggest business sector - representing almost 17% of the economy.
Mr Bell says the risk the Isle of Man took embracing the online gaming industry in the late 1990's, has paid-off handsomely:
Strike off process against companies with out-of-date information starts
Payroll firm reprimanded after thousands of personal records discovered in abandoned shredding bins
Local food van 'disappointed' not to be visiting Castletown after offering 42 dates
