
Phil Angus, the Chief Executive of Marsh (Isle of Man) Limited and current President of the Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man, has hosted a Past President's Dinner to celebrate the Institute's 20th year.
Eleven past presidents attended the event at The Max in Onchan: Richard Gough (88/89), Les Doherty (89/90), John Booth (90/91), Christine Crowther (91/92), Jim Hardie (93/94), David Vick (94/95), Wendy Sayer (97/98), Alan Holdsworth (00/01), David Stacey (02/03), Lillian Boyle (03/04), Paul Ellison (04/05) and Kevin Wood (06/07). The past presidents were joined by the current members of Council.
Mr Angus also hosted the recent annual dinner for the Insurance Institute at the Villa Marina. The guest speaker was Robbie Glen, an ex-prison warden from Glasgow, who entertained the guests with his after dinner speech.
