It's to strengthen awareness about financial crime
The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority is inviting local businesses to two events this year, aimed at strengthening industry awareness and collaboration in tackling financial crime.
On Wednesday 18 March, the Authority will host a forum at the Manx Museum, offering two one-hour sessions for Heads of Compliance to explore the updated National Risk Assessment.
Head of AML/CFT Supervision, Ashley Whyte, will present an overview followed by an open Q&A session.
In August, a repeat of the Countering Financial Crime Conference will take place at the Villa Marina, featuring local and international experts sharing best practices.
The authority says these events form part of a wider programme ahead of this year’s MONEYVAL mutual evaluation, highlighting the Island’s commitment to combating financial crime.
For anyone who is unable to attend, the event will be recorded and published online.
There will be two separate one hour sessions on 18 March and you can book onto them here:
