Group adds presence in 'new key region'
Island-based Equiom Group is establishing a presence in northern Scotland, with the acquisition of company services outsourcing firm Eagle Consulting.
The Inverness business offers a similar range of services to Equiom's, including accounting, payroll, tax and compliance, direct debiting and treasury services. It is said to be the second largest BACS bureau in the UK.
Sixty-four members of staff from Eagle Consulting will join the Equiom team with immediate effect, and the process of re branding to Equiom will begin in April 2017.
Equiom's CEO Sheila Dean said: "The complimentary service lines will both broaden our accountancy offering for clients looking for a more comprehensive, fully managed solution and it will also see us established in a new key region."
