Openings via Guernsey trust business
An Island based corporate services provider says its acquisition of a Guernsey business will give it access to clients in four new jurisdictions.
Equiom has announced the take over of Virtus Trust Group which has a presence in the Cayman Islands, New Zealand, the UK and USA.
It also holds a US public trustee licence in the state of South Dakota.
The firm was founded in 2005 and offers services such as succession planning, trust and foundation services and investment related solutions.
Twenty-five staff members from Virtus will join the Equiom team, however, they'll continue to operate from the Guernsey office.
Equiom bosses say the company will fully complete the process of rebranding by June.
