
The director of the Isle of Man Ship Registry has explained an incident in which a Manx registered vessel, with missiles on board, was detained in Finland.
The 'Thor Liberty' was stopped in Kotka, in the south of the country, with a cargo of 69 Patriot missiles and 150 tonnes of an explosive compound, bound for China.
But Dick Welsh says the problem was the way the cargo was stored, rather than the items themselves:
