The Financial Supervision Commission is warning people about a scam involving fake job offers.
The Isle of Man's financial regulator says David Cole has been writing to people falsely claiming to represent OCRA Worldwide, offering work.
The FSC says while there is a real company called OCRA, which has an office in Douglas, Mr Cole is nothing to do with the firm.
It's warning people that the letters are most likely being sent to tempt people into becoming victims of advance fee fraud, and says people should ignore job offers which arrive out of the blue.
The Commission's website (fsc.gov.im) has further information.
