Keystone opens door for young talent to soar
Island law firm Keystone Law has launched a sports and leisure academy for under-18s, with the aim of expanding opportunities and ensuring the most talented Island youngsters aim high.
Several of the firm's lawyers who play, coach or run sporting and outdoor activities, are at the helm of the new venture.
Keystone IOM Director Gill Christian, ex-Isle of Man Women's football team, has sponsored Braddan school in the IOMFA girls' tournament, also supplying them with kit.
She is also to fund travel costs to the tune of £2000 for a local teenager who's signed for Manchester United's Regional Talent Club.
Keystone's Stephen Rodd a level 2 Rugby Union coach, has pledged to continue training Island schools' teams. Meanwhile, lawyer and ex-Scout leader Ben Hughes has helped set up a new Explorer Scout unit - the Middle and Western Moddey Dhoo group, to assist boys and girls aged 13-18 gain Duke of Edinburgh and Scout awards.
Keystone Law, an umbrella for entrepreneurial lawyers who work as 'free range' consultants, launched in the Island earlier this year.
