
The cruise liner pontoon which has been built in Douglas Harbour over the winter will be tried out for the first time at the end of the week.
On Friday the MS Black Prince is scheduled to arrive from Liverpool.
The 11,000 ton vessel, carrying up to 600 passengers and crew, is due at 8am, on a Fred Olsen Line Mini-Cruise.
On arrival, passengers will be met by representatives from the Department of Tourism and Leisure.
During their time on the Island the visitors will enjoy organised tours to locations including Laxey Wheel, Tynwald Hill and Cregneash.
The MV Black Prince last visited the Island in 2002.
