
Four ‘Flybe’ flights from the Isle of Man, two to Gatwick and two to Manchester, were delayed today (Wednesday) as safety investigations were carried out into a type of aircraft used by the company.

Two of the Dash 8 Q400 turboprop planes, owned by the Scandanavian airline, SAS, have been involved in incidents in which their landing gear collapsed. No-one was hurt.
