Group makes equity and funding offer to airline
Flybe has received an offer to inject funds into the company.
Bateleur Capital, Mesa Air Group Inc and former Stobart Group boss Andrew Tinkler have put the proposal together, according to news agency Reuters.
Flybe, which operates a number of routes in and out of Ronaldsway, has stressed that the £65million equity offer is highly conditional, and doesn't believe it would be executable in time to allow the airline to continue to operate.
A group including Virgin Atlantic and Stobart Group has already agreed a deal to buy Flybe for £2.2million, after the company listed itself for sale earlier this year.
