Charity to benefit from fundraising campaign
A fundraising campaign will help the Isle of Man Foodbank provide more fresh food to those in need on the Island.
The charity has received a share of the £12,280 raised through the Z Zurich Foundation's 'Give a Coffee #Yessir' initiative.
The funds mean the organisation can work on its five-year plan, including securing a long-term lease for its headquarters in Tromode.
Foodbank chief executive Neal Mellon says investing in new equipment to keep perishable goods fresh is also a priority:
Ribbon cut on fully refurbished M&S store
Inflation falls to 2.9 percent in March
Is 'inter-generational home sharing' the solution to the loneliness epidemic and housing crisis?
DfE provided more than £250,000 to MT to assist with below ground fibre installations
