The Manx government's former head of e-gaming and space commerce Tim Craine has been appointed to the board of Island-based corporate service provider Cavendish Trust.
The company says it has developed strong links with the two niche industries Mr Craine helped promote during his time at the Department of Economic Development. He retired from the civil service in April after a 34 year career.
Mr Craine who's been appointed non-executive director, said he was looking forward to helping the firm achieve its business objectives.
Cavendish Trust has also announced the appointment of two Jersey-based English solicitors to executive director positions - William Bennett and Paul Egerton-Vernon
