Mercedes-Benz franchise transferred to Jacksons
The future of the site of a Ballasalla garage is unclear, after it was announced the Mercedes-Benz franchise in the Isle of Man is changing hands.
The dealership has been sold by Whitestone Garage to Jacksons, who will be transferring the sales and service business to their Cooil Road site in Braddan.
The company already has the franchise for Mercedes-Benz in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Wight.
Smart sales and service business will also be moving.
Jacksons say the change won't result in any redundancies, as staff have been offered employment at the new site.
Owned by Isle of Man Enterprises, Whitestone Garage Limited has operated the Mercedes-Benz of Mann dealership on the site since 1971.
