Brand to continue under management and ownership of financial investors

The founders of Ramsey's award winning Fynoderee Distillery say they are stepping away from the business.

Paul and Tiffany Kerruish say Fynoderee is continuing under the management and ownership of its financial investors.

Paul and Tiffany Kerruish, who built the business from a garage at the back of their home, say the harsh realities of operating a craft distillery and hospitality business are relentless, and it's a shame they couldn't match their 'deep passion for the brand and acquired knowledge of craft spirit production with the deeper pockets needed' to financially hold on to their position.

The couple go on to say that as much as they're 'renowned for telling a gritty Manx folk tale', the terms of their parting 'don't allow them to divulge any backstory to their exit'.

They add: "suffice to say we are not the first and will certainly not be the last original founders to find themselves the leading character in their own tale of woe".

Tiffany and Paul have thanked their customers for all the support, custom, collaboration and encouragement over the last near decade of their tenure.
