Four month refurbishment complete
A pub in the Island's historic capital has reopened, following extensive refurbishment.
The 19th Century George Hotel in Castletown has been closed since the start of the year, in order for work to be carried out. The property is now known simply as "The George".
It's had an indoor facelift with modernisation throughout its bar and eleven bedrooms, as well as alterations outdoors.
At the time the plans were submitted, the proposals specified that the property's original features were to be retained.
