The story has emerged of the 'behind the scenes activities which enabled a rescue to be mounted quickly, after the collapse of EuroManx.
Flybe Chief Commercial Officer Michael Rutter says it became clear on Thursday night that EuroManx was on the edge and the airlines met to discuss the best course of action.
He says it was the 'can do' attitude of the Manx Government that enabled things to happen, within the tight timeframe available:
