Networking event a pull for industry
An event focused on providing Island residents and visitors with excellent customer service has drawn a record number of attendees.
More than 200 people attended the second annual Manx Hospitality Day, organised by the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce and held this week at the Palace Hotel (14 April).
The event aims to bring business people from many different parts of the Manx tourism and hospitality sectors together to network, share best practice and hear motivational speakers from local firms.
Organisers hope the event will give a boost to the industry by reaffirming the need to ensure high standards of service at all levels.
