Energy from Waste Plant sale reported year later
Isle of Man Bank has sold the Energy from Waste site to its parent company the Royal Bank of Scotland International.
It's as reports had circulated that the facility had sold last week, with the details behind it unclear.
The plant was constructed by government in 2003/4 where it was sold on a 'sale and leaseback' basis.
In May 2019 the ownership switched from the IoM Bank to RBSI, companies of the same group.
It's only now that the sale has been reported.
