Inflation on the Island as well as the number of people out of work have both fallen.
The "out of work" figures are usually slimmed down at this time of year by students, returning to their studies, signing off. There are, currently and according to Government figures, 593 without a job. Thais 1.4% of the economically active population.
Inflation has dipped 0.2% to stand at 3.9%.
The main riser in the last month was fuel and light, up by 4%.
