Insurance regulations consultation launched

FSA asks public's opinion on planned changes

Planned changes to insurance regulations in the Isle of Man have been put out to public consultation.

If introduced, the Island will be the first Crown Dependency to bring in a 'code of conduct' for the industry.

The aim of the changes is to ensure conflicts of interest which arise during the insurance sales process are disclosed.

The consultation can be viewed and commented upon on the Financial Services Authority's website, iomfsa.im.

It runs until Friday, September 2.
