The chairman of the Institute of Directors is visiting the Isle of Man today (Tuesday).
Dr Neville Bain is here to formally confirm the partnership between the Manx branch of the organisation and the Isle of Man Business Centre.
That will take place during a reception at the Business Centre in Circular Road, Douglas this evening.
Dr Bain was born and educated in New Zealand and has worked at international level in various senior management and general finance roles.
His main part of his career was with Cadbury Schweppes where, for 27 years, he was finance director, commercial director and managing director in different countries.
Dr Bain has also written five books on topics including general management, good governance and utilising people effectively.
His latest work, called 'The Effective Board', was published in September last year.
