Space pioneers from 22 teams are on the Isle of Man for the Google Lunar X-Prize summit.
The conference is giving participants a chance to discuss how they are progressing as they compete for a $30 million prize for sending a robot to the moon and transmitting video, pictures and data.
This morning (Monday), delegates arrived on the Island and they will spend today and tomorrow meeting each other and the competition's bosses.
President and vice-chair of the Google Lunar X-Prize is Robert Weiss, who says the Isle of Man is the perfect venue for the gathering:
