The City of London has named the Isle of Man the 21st best jurisdiction in its latest index of global financial centres.
The research, in the form of questionnaires to financial professionals, shows the Island is highly rated for its stability and regulation, putting it among the world’s financial leaders.
The report takes into account many factors, including business confidence, where the Island doesn’t rate too highly, through to factors such as its murder rate, where it's the report’s eighth best.
But one factor which might make the Manx Government worry slightly is the Island's 'e-readiness'.
The Isle of Man ranked 17th, behind jurisdictions such as Hamilton, most of the United States and even the Cayman Islands.
