Representatives from the Isle of Man are out in the Caribbean this week, meeting officers from other shipping registries.
The tiny Island of Anguilla is playing host to the latest Red Ensign Group conference, which is an annual event attended by registries in the United Kingdom and overseas territories.
The conference runs until tomorrow (Thursday), and topics under discussion include the future of Superyachts, training surveyors for the Maritime Labour Convention, Port State Controls, low emission fuels, handling marine accidents and international relations.
Along with the Isle of Man, there are officials from the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Gibraltar, the UK , Guernsey, Jersey, the Falkland Islands, Montserrat, St Helena and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
