Opportunity knocks for Island student
Junior Achievement has offered a year's marketing and events internship to a budding Island entrepreneur.
Alexandra Day who was educated at King William's College and graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, with a first class honours degree in business and economics, is now studying for a Master's in entrepreneurship at Isle of Man College.
Junior Achievement offers programmes in Island schools, helping equip young people with business skills for the outside world.
The charity's chief executive Sue Cook says a high flying youngster from a past company programme paved the way for the position:
