Canadian pro described as legend of the game
PokerStars has announced it is parting ways with perhaps the best-known poker player ever.
Daniel Negreanu - star of the 'Kid Poker' documentary - has been a figurehead of the company for the past 12 years.
He took to social media to make the announcement:
The Canadian pro has amassed around $40million in 'live' poker earnings alone.
The Stars group described him as "a true legend of the game" and "the best ambassador poker has ever seen."
