King Gaming's license suspended amidst criminal investigation

Gambling Supervision Commission publishes statement

The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission has suspended the licenses of King Gaming Ltd and Dalmine Ltd whilst a criminal investigation is carried out.

The Commission, which regulates both companies, published the announcement overnight saying it's taken the decision pending a regulatory review.

It says the move is in line with its regulatory objectives and it will be assisting its partner agencies in the matter.

A new campus headquarters for King Gaming is being built by Jade Tree Ltd on the former Cunningham's Holiday Camp site, just off Victoria Road in Douglas.

At the time it was approved last year it was described as the 'largest ever single private investment on the Isle of Man'.

As the subject is matter to a criminal investigation, the GSC says it would be inappropriate to comment at this time.
