
An auction of drawings water colours and table ware by Archibald Knox takes place this evening in Douglas.
Two Manx landscapes by Knox, along with a collection of six pencil drawings, a Knox design silver, gold and enamel pendant and a christening set will be on offer, with estimates on their
value ranging from £600 to 1,200.
The star item in the auction is a full sized portrait of Speaker of Keys, Sir John
Goldie-Taubman. The estimate ranges between 4 and 6 thousand pounds.
The auction starts at 6 this Friday evening, May 25th, at Trinity Church Hall, Rosemount.
