Latest quarterly figures released
The catering and entertainment sector had the highest number of vacancies at the end of the third financial quarter.
The figures have been released in the latest quarterly and economic update from the Cabinet Office.
120 vacancies existed within the sector - considerably higher than the next sector, retail distribution where there were 57 vacancies. There were 27 vacancies in Education and Teaching.
There were 28 people unemployed in the construction sector, 24 in retail distribution and 34 in unspecified business services.
The figures also show the numbers working in e-gaming seem to have peaked, with the numbers employed having dropped slightly from 805 in the second quarter to 791 at the end of the third quarter.
