Lorna to lead training solutions for digital sector

Joining Readynez from PDMS

New training solutions to help up-skill and retrain the local workforce will be provided by a company well-known in the European training industry.

Readynez says it wants to work to reduce a skills gap particularly in the digital sector.

It recently opened a new IT training centre on the Island and has appointed Lorna Trevethan to lead operations.

She joins from PDMS and is also the lead for skills for the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce.

Jason Crane, learning solutions director, from Readynez says: "For us it was a fantastic opportunity to work with Lorna with her vast experience of skills-based initiatives on the Island.

"All matters around skills and digital change are very close to our hearts. It’s in our DNA to help bring training that actually works to everyone who needs it and from our conversations with Lorna it was obvious she is as keen as we are about the skills agenda."
