Manx-partnered satellite to launch in 2018
The Island will continue to boldly go where others dream - as a Manx-partnered satellite blasts into orbit next year.
Telesat, a long-standing client of Ballasalla-based space contractors ManSat, has recently acquired the cutting-edge Telstar 18 VANTAGE spacecraft.
It's due to begin operations in the next 12 months, covering orbital services in East Asia and Pacific regions.
The Manx 'space commerce' industry - which Telesat were one of the first to take advantage of - was ranked the third biggest worldwide in 2015.
