Close Leece Farm gets top prize
A Manx food producer has been awarded 18 separate 'Great Taste' star awards for 2018.
Close Leece Farm, situated on Patrick Road in St John's, produces a variety of goods ranging from speciality meats, to cheese and honey.
Over 12,600 products were judged through blind-tasting this year, and of those, 192 were given the top Great Taste award of a three-star rating.
Among the highest ranking was Close Leece Farm's Manx chorizo.
A further seventeen of the farm's products were given one or two stars.
MasterChef 2018 champion Kenny Tutt was included in the judging panel, along with a range of food writers and critics.
