LegCo member's Twitter broadside
A member of the Manx parliament's upper house has accused an Island company of doing little to earn its cash.
Legislative Council member Juan Turner took to social media in a blast at Manx Telecom, complaining about problems he was experiencing and asking what he was paying for.
After the company apologised on Twitter and offered to help yesterday (1 April) he accused it of appalling service and said it took his money each month but "failed".
In reference to its recent reported rise in profits this year, the MLC angrily accused the firm of cutting its costs but raising prices.
