The new restaurant at Douglas steam railway station will open for business at breakfast time on Monday.
It will be called The Tickethall and is described as 'vegeterian and pescetarian'.
The interior has been given a full makeover and is now said to reflect the venue's long history.
Manager Steve Quirke says the restaurant will serve vegetarian and fish dishes, with fresh fish being sent by train from Paddy's fish market in Port St Mary during the season.
The Tickethall won the catering tenancy when the lease came up for renewal at the end of last year, beating the bid put in by Green's vegetarian restaurant, which had been there for 21 years.
