Due to reach 75% of properties by end of 2022
Manx Telecom says it's slightly ahead of schedule in getting Fibre to most Island premises.
The company began its rollout in 2018 – two years later it was selected as the Manx Government's preferred supplier to deliver the National Broadband Plan.
That involves a joint investment of £50 million with the plan highlighting a target of providing the broadband to 99 per cent of premises by July 2024.
Fibre should reach 75 per cent of premises by the end of this year.
