Big take-up of new mobile package
Manx Telecom says thousands of its customers have moved to a new 'Smartroam' tariff since packages were launched during the summer.
The product was introduced as the company looked to reduce 90% of data roaming costs.
Manx Telecom was also the first Isle of Man operator to offer unlimited minutes, text and data for use on-Island.
Mobile Product Manager Al Lugton says the tariff offers 'outstanding value' for being what he terms the Isle of Man's first unlimited on-Island mobile tariff, and was also of benefit to those travelling to the UK.
Manx Telecom now has 380 roaming agreements with major networks off-Island.
