A happy customer has meant a prize for a Manx Telecom worker and a boost for Orangutans in Borneo.
Susannah Harrison, a member of the mobile sales team, won the company’s Compliment of the Year award after a letter from a customer who was delighted with the service they received.
After buying a Blackberry from Susannah, the customer wrote: "I have spent many years in the service industry and I have not experienced such a quick response and a willingness to go the extra mile."
Susannah was given the award by MT’s Managing Director Chris Hall at an annual gala awards night at the Empress Hotel in Douglas
Manx Telecom gave £250 to Susannah’s favoured charity, the Borneo Orangutan Society, which aims to prevent the creature’s extinction.
