A senior executive at Manx Telecom has appeared as an expert panelist at a major industry gathering in London, Total Telecom Congress 2016.
Kevin Paige took part in a discussion about virtualised telecoms technology, an appearance which recognised MT's expertise in the field.
The company's deployment of Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) technology to enhance the fixed line system, is said to have caught the eye of the industry.
MT says the upgrade, which allows rapid introduction of new services faster, for consumers and businesses, makes it one of the most advanced in the world.
The Congress provided a forum for delegates from global communications companies to explore diverse opportunities in areas from emerging markets to big data and the internet of things.
