Temporary solution to safeguard lines
Manx Telecom's work to safeguard services to homes and businesses in Laxey continues.
Around 300 fixed lines and related internet services were put at risk after the bridge collapse in the lower part of the village last week.
The remainder of the structure has today been demolished (11 Dec) with Telecom engineers on site to install temporary fibre optic cabling alongside a temporary footbridge.
