Telecoms firm acted after cannabis charge
Manx Telecom has suspended its chief financial officer after he was charged with a drugs offence.
The proceedings are unrelated to Danny Bakhshi’s position.
The 50 year-old, who has been bailed until October the third, has been charged with being unlawfully concerned in the production of a Class B substance.
Mr Bakhshi, who denies the charge, is accused after a quantity of cannabis worth around £200 arrived in the Isle of Man from Amsterdam. A customs official intercepted the parcel.
