The new president of the Chamber of Commerce says her appointment marks an important step for women.
Micky Swindale is the first woman to ever take the top position.
She was officially given the chain of office at the chamber's 60th anniversary last week, taking over from Michael Crowe.
Mrs Swindale is an Associate Director of KPMG Isle of Man and Gibraltar.
