A new president has been appointed for the Chamber of Commerce.

Two-hundred-and-fifty people from across the Island recently went to the Chamber's annual gala dinner where a number of new appointments were announced.

Kristan McDonald takes up the role of Chamber President taking over from predecessor Caren Pegg.

Kristan – who is Chief Technology Officer at Pushologies Ltd – joined Chamber in 2017 and became Chair of its FUEL (Future Emerging Leaders) sub-committee.

He became Chamber’s Vice-President in 2019.

Several other changes were announced at the Chamber's AGM; Claire Watterson, formerly Chair of the Think Tank group, is now Chamber’s Vice-President, Barry Lawson has moved up from Vice-Chair to Chair of Think Tank, and Kathryn Sharman is now Think Tank’s Vice-Chair.
