New charity programme announced at Black Grace Cowley open evening

Estate agents Black Grace Cowley are holding an open evening next week (20th)

They say the event on the 20th November is planned in response to a marked increase in activity within the Island's property market.

Black Grace Cowley’s Residential Director Tim Groves says there's been an 18 percent increase in stock and an increase in sales agreed over this time last year.

MBL, Manx Financial Solutions, Dougherty Quinn and members of the Black Grace Cowley team will be on hand to discuss the market, handle questions, give advice and provide a breakdown of what's available for housing on the Isle of Man.

The event, at the companies offices on Victoria Street in Douglas, will get underway at 5pm to coincide with the Douglas Christmas lights ceremony.

As well as mulled wine and mince pies, guests can also enjoy details of the launch of the company’s brand new charity programme, which aims to raise a total of £20,000 for local charities over the next three years.

Black Grace Cowley will pledge £100 from the proceeds of every house sold to one of three local charities. Regardless of the price of the house sold, a Black Grace Cowley client can choose to donate to Manx Breast Cancer, Isle of Man Alzheimer’s Society, or Rebecca House, in a fundraising scheme that is funded entirely by Black Grace Cowley’s fees.
