Fresh challenge for legal specialist

Island law firm Cains has drafted in fresh expertise to help expand its litigation department, amid increased client demand.

Cains' clients include governments, multi-national corporations financial institutions, regulatory bodies and family offices.

Director Peter Clucas says Ms Owens' experience of Isle of Man High Court procedures will be a big boost for the firm.

Born and raised in the Isle of Man, Ms Owens obtained a law degree from Sheffield University and was admitted to the Manx Bar six years ago.

Jacqui has represented clients in cases of fraud, misrepresentation, negligence and breach of contract, and has held notable roles including Chief General Counsel at a Lloyd's of London managing agency.
